Most memorable achievement:
When I was 12 years old , playing in the World Champs at Pinehurst GC in America. There I qualified to represent the International Junior team playing against the American team in a Ryder Cup format on Pinehurst no 2 (US Open course). Walking up the 18th hole with local TV filming us, a huge 20ft screen displaying my picture and resume and being announced to the gallery as I walked onto the green was a fantastic experience.
I won the Kenwick Parks Mens Club Championship
Represented England U18 in the European Team Championship in Sweden where I came 8th in the individual strokeplay
Came 4th in the Mcgregor Trophy (England U16 Open) at Trevose GC
Represented England U16 in the European Young Masters in Hungary where I came 10th in the individual strokeplay
I represented England U18 in the Boys Home Internationals in Ireland at Portmarnock Links GC
Played in the British U18 boys Championship and after qualifying reached the last 16 in the matchplay at Holinwell and Coxmore GC
Came 5th in the North of England U16 Championship at Pannal GC
Represented Great Britain and Ireland U18 in the Jacques Leglise Trophy against Europe in Ireland. Played at Portmarnock GC
Won the Midland U18 and U16 Boys Champion of Champions trophies at Spalding GC
Won the England U18 Boys Champions of Champions trophy at Woodhall Spa GC
Representing England U16 versus Scotland at Pannal Gc
Representing England U16 versus Ireland at Huddersfield
Playing in the British Heart Foundation Final at Close House GC

Selected for England U18 winter coaching squad
At the beginning of May I played in the Fairhaven trophy at Fairhaven Gc. This is an International U18 event. I came 3rd individually. I was also selected to represent England in the Nations Cup at the event.
At the end of May I played in Lincolnshire Boys Championships at Waltham Windmill G – I won both the U16 and U18 trophies and became Lincolnshire boy’s champion.
At the beginning of June I was selected to play in the County Men’s 1st team in an EGU qualifier
In July I played in and won Kenwick Park’s Men’s Club Championship.
In the middle of July I was selected to play for England Under 18s in the “European Boys Team Championships in Sweden. I was 1 of 6 players selected and was the only U16 selected.
At the end of July I have been selected to represent England U16 in the Nations Cup at Trevose GC in Cornwall.
Also at the end of July I have been selected to represent England U16 to play in the European Junior Masters in Hungary. I am 1 of 2 players selected.
Sweden – I am currently in Sweden representing England. We hope to bring home the European Gold medal.
The McGregor (U16 national open) will be held at the Trevose GC in Cornwall where as well as competing for myself I will also be representing England U16s in the Nations Cup. I hope to achieve a top 5 finish in the individual competition.
The European Junior Masters will be my most prestigious individual tournament for some years as it will provide me with the opportunity to play against the best U16s in Europe. The tournament is in Hungary at the end of July.
In August I am playing in the British Boys Championships in Nottingham.
Ash was part of a team of 3 players from Kenwick Park GC who raised £1750 for the British Heart Foundation in a charity tournament.
The golfing season has not really commenced yet with my first National tournament being in mid-April.
However during January and Feb I spent 2 weekends with my England U16 colleagues in Bath for coaching weekends.
In the middle of the Feb half term I was invited to join up with the England U18 team at Formby GC for 3 days of coaching.
At the beginning of March I represented the England U16 team versus the Southern region U18 team at the East Sussex National Golf course near Eastbourne. There I won 3 out of my 4 matches.
On the 2nd weekend in March I was selected to play for the England U18 team at Fairhaven GC against a Northern region U18 team. I won my match.
On the 3rd weekend in March I represented the England U16 team versus Midlands and North U16 teams. I won 2 matches, halved 1 and lost 1.
In the last week of March I have been invited to join the England U18 squad in Spain for warm weather training and performance assessment.
During the next 3 months I will be playing in the McAvoy trophy and Fairhaven trophy. Both are national U18 tournaments.
In April I will join the U18 and U16 England squads at Forest Pines Golf Club for a performance weekend.
On April 25th I will be playing a charity match at Holme Hall GC raising money for the British Heart Foundation. I have already raised £300 towards this competition.
After the Fairhaven I have to concentrate on my GCSEs which will be completed by July.
