The Football Association, also known more commonly as the FA, is the National Governing Body of football across England.

Football is England’s national sport and is widely considered the most popular sport in the world.

There are various different forms of football, including 11-a-side, 6-a-side, futsal, blind football and more. All types of football include the use of a round ball which two teams compete to gain possession of. The aim of the game is to kick the ball into the opposition’s goal. The team with the most goals at the end of the game wins.

The Lincolnshire Football Association

Lincolnshire Football Association was formed in 1881 in Lincoln. Just a small number of clubs joined with the promise of control, organisation, planning and increased participation but today they have over 1000 clubs under their banner, stretching across one of the largest geographical counties in the country. And those original promises are still at the forefront of their operations today.

The Lincolnshire FA supports clubs with football development, governance and member services.
