There are two organisations which support basketball in Lincolnshire; Basketball England and Lincolnshire Basketball Association.

Basketball is a team game played on a rectangular court. Two teams of five players aim to score goals by throwing a ball through a netted hoop at each end of the court.

Basketball England

Basketball England is the national governing body for baskeball. Its mission is to govern and enhance the sport of basketball in England, to encourage and enable people to participate in basketball regardless of their ability, age, gender, status, disability or ethnic background and to lift the performance and quality of basketball throughout England.

Lincolnshire Basketball Association (LBBA)

The Lincolnshire Basketball Association is the amateur county association for basketball.

They are responsible for managing the county senior men’s basketball league and cup competitions, and are affiliated with England Basketball.
