Supporting Lincolnshire's sport & physical activity workforce
Take a look below at our selection of resources to help children get active.
With many children’s exercise levels having fallen during the Coronavirus pandemic, it is more important than ever to keep children active. Guidance from the Chief Medical Officer suggests children should be active for an average of 60 minutes a day, across the week. The activities should make children breathe faster and feel warmer.
We’ve gathered together some digital resources and links to activities for use in school or at home.
One key barrier to becoming more active is a lack of information about what physical activity opportunities there are in the local area.
To help tackle this challenge, our Let’s Move Lincolnshire website features a open data enabled Club & Activity Finder, giving users up-to-date information about nearby physical activity sessions, facilities and events.
