Meet Karen, an aqua aerobics enthusiast on her way to becoming an instructor
Karen Hills fell in love with aqua aerobics after she started attending classes at her local leisure centre. With support from the Active Lincolnshire Skills Fund, she’s now planning to return to work and pursuing her dream of becoming an aqua aerobics instructor. She’s excited to share her passion for this fun and effective workout with others.
Karen shares her motivation for becoming an instructor:
I have got a path planned of where I want to go and what I want to do which I am incredibly excited about. I really enjoy exercise but aqua aerobics is particularly special, and I'm excited to share that experience with others. Having an arthritic right knee and a larger body build, I understand the challenges of feeling restricted in exercise. My goal is to create a welcoming and inclusive space where people can exercise, have fun, and improve their overall well-being.
