Supporting Lincolnshire's sport & physical activity workforce
Active Lincolnshire is committed to providing opportunities for everyone in Lincolnshire to be active every day. We work with partners to address inequalities and inactivity, responding to the needs of people and places.
As advocates for the positive power that physical activity has on everyone’s lives, we work in partnership to improve understanding, influence change, and tackle the challenge of inactivity.
Our Knowledge Hub is the core of our website. Here you’ll find our guidance, advice, insight and support in all areas of physical activity and sport.
Want to get involved with us? We depend on your collaboration to create and influence meaningful change. Find out how you can help Lincolnshire move more.
Living Connections have been awarded a grant of £2318 from Sport England's Together Fund, to enable them to deliver multi-sport sessions for people living with poor mental health, including depression and having difficulty going out.
Active Lincolnshire is distributing the Together Fund in Lincolnshire on behalf of Sport England. The fund exists to help to reduce the negative impact of coronavirus and support community groups and clubs working with our target audiences - whose activity levels have been most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic - to grow and enable more people to be more active.
Living Connections was set up in January 2022 to support adults with disabilities who have anxiety or depression, feel lonely, are bereaved, or feel disconnected and isolated from the impact of the Covid pandemic.
The multi-sport sessions will allow participants the opportunity to meet and socialise with others in the same situation. They will be able to take part in activities, receive support and make new connections, during the course of the project.
