The Youth Sport Trust Awards 2022 will recognise the work of schools that have demonstrated the central role of PE, sport, physical activity and wellbeing in supporting young people’s return to school following the pandemic.
Awards will be presented at the YST Awards Dinner 2022 on 2 March at the Coventry Building Society Arena, Coventry, on the eve of the YST Conference 2022.
Nominate your Lincolnshire School for the YST Awards today. Nominations close on 21 January, and shortlisted nominees will be announced the week commencing 31 January 2022.
Awarded to a setting that has placed physical literacy at the heart of their curriculum, ensuring that learners’ physical, social and emotional health is central.
Awarded to a Multi-Academy Trust that has demonstrated excellent collaboration across the MAT to place PE, sport, physical activity and wellbeing at the heart of their pupils’ return to school and recovery, ensuring that learners’ physical, social and emotional health is central.
Awarded to a primary school that has placed PE, sport, physical activity and wellbeing at the heart of their pupils’ return to school and recovery, ensuring that learners’ physical, social and emotional health is central.
Awarded to a secondary school that has placed PE, sport, physical activity and wellbeing at the heart of their pupils’ return to school and recovery, ensuring that learners’ physical, social and emotional health is central.
Awarded to a special, PRU or AP school that has placed PE, sport, physical activity and wellbeing at the heart of their pupils’ return to school and recovery, ensuring that learners’ physical, social and emotional health is central.
Awarded to an early years setting, primary, secondary or special school, which has harnessed the power of physical activity, PE and sport to develop and deliver targeted interventions that bring people and communities together, demonstrating a positive impact on young people’s health and wellbeing.
Awarded to a PE or school sports network leader who in their area has influenced change that has positively impacted schools and young people through PE and sport.
Awarded to a young person who has demonstrated the skills and confidence to undertake social action or lead change in their school or community. Empowered through sport, this young person will have made a difference by being a local activist, tackling the issues of their generation and championing the power of sport to change lives.
The YST Youth Board will select the winner from the category winners at the Girls Active & Young Changemaker Awards.
