Dementia Friendly Swimming Sessions to Start in Louth

New dementia friendly swimming sessions start at Meridian Leisure Centre in Louth later this month.

The first session takes place on Monday 20th February from 12noon to 1pm and sessions will then run weekly at the same time and place.

The sessions aim to provide a fun, relaxing, safe and supportive environment for those living with dementia or caring for someone who is.

Meridian Leisure Centre café will be open before and after each session for individuals, families and carers to meet. Meridian is also providing a seperate room for a tea and coffee break after the first session too.

Please note there is a fee of £4.40 without an MV card, £3.65 with an MV card and £3.30 for concessions.
