Agile systems
One of our 6 key themes
Lincolnshire is a diverse community, shaped and supported by a whole range of stakeholders and organisations. To tackle the challenges its residents face, we need a joined-up conversation about physical activity, health and wellbeing – and a shared, county-wide strategy that moves us forward. To achieve this we need to empower multiple organisations to collaborate constructively, and we need everyone to recognise they’re an integral part of the Let’s Move movement.
Let’s Move Lincolnshire will help to establish agile systems and trusted processes, enabling stakeholder networks to work closely and flexibly side by side, sharing data and conceiving ideas, for mutual benefit. Together, we’ll create new structures, meaningful connections and systematic approaches to problem solving that break down barriers and nurture a more active Lincolnshire.
This collaborative approach will help us deliver a consistent, compelling message to the county’s residents. It will help us make the most of the rich resources we have, pooling insights to create better support for our communities. It will avoid duplication and confusion, making the best possible use of resources. And it will foster a positive cultural shift, establishing effective, proactive networks where action is taken and change delivered.
Together, we’ll also identify how physical activity, sport and leisure can make a positive contribution to community cohesion, economic prosperity, carbon-neutral targets, crime and safety, and skills and employability.
