  • Better health, at your pace with encouragment by us
  • More confidence when out at night
  • Teach the mind to be more active – learning new skills
  • Get closer with your family by making it a family activity
  • Sense of Achievement
  • Make new friends

I started kuk sool in 1996 at the age of 10 after hearing about it from one of the students. I wanted to try something new that was challenging and would teach me to stick up for myself. It also gave me and my mum something to do together as she joined in the week after. Together we achieved 1st degree black belt in 2000. Kuk sool Won has taught me respect and etiquette and the discipline has kept me from goin off the rails at times aswel as knocking the attitude out of me.

Over the years I have been honoured to be included in semiars with the Grandmaster and other leading Masters. I have also taken part in several tournaments winning a variety of medals. I have recently come back after having 6 years away from training due to work and having my daughter. Being at Boston school is not just about being part of a successful martial arts school it is about being part of a family. I was nervous about returning but the students aswell as instructors made me feel at ease and like I had never been away.
