Most memorable achievement:
My most memorable sporting achievement is winning my first international medal at the European Youth Olympic trials and also breaking the U17 British record at English Schools.
In the last three months I have now completed my season. I finished the year with three personal bests and some great results all round. I am now beginning to start training again over the winter period to prepare for the coming season.
I now do not have any competitions until possibly February where my coach and I will review my plan as to whether I will compete indoors or not. If I do not compete, I will continue to train through till the outdoor season commencing in roughly April.
LEAP has been a great help this year!
Over the last few months I have had many competitions; I have improved my personal best to 16.23m which now ranks me number 3 in the UK. I have won my age group national championships and competed in the world jnr championships where I finished 6th as the highest ranked 17 year old in the competition.
I now have a handful of competitions left in which I am to further my personal best and attain a higher national ranking.
In the last month I have competed in a few meeting. I have won the indoor national title by close to three meters. I have also competed in a winter throws event at Loughborough where I threw my seasons best of 15.28. I was very pleased as this was the most consistent series I have ever produced.
I have no up and coming competitions until April. This year I would like to qualify for the world junior championships in Barcelona. I will be going to warm weather training in April.
