Sportivate gives young people between the ages of 11 and 25 the chance to receive six to eight weeks of sport for little or no cost.
The National Lottery funded programme launched in 2011 and will run until March 2017. Each of the 45 County Sports Partnerships (CSPs) receive funding to allocate to suitable clubs and organisations in their county.
Sportivate Case Studies
Here are a few case studies of some of the successful Sportivate projects ran in 2015. Please click on the links below:
Sportivate targets 11-25 year olds who may not seek out sporting opportunities themselves or those who are doing sport for a very limited amount of time.
Target Groups include:
- Disability groups
- Inactive young people (those that have participated in sport or physical activity on less than 3 days out of the last 30)
- Women and Girls
