Horncastle & District Tennis Club is very honoured to be hosting The Davis Cup Trophy Tour on behalf of Lincolnshire Tennis.

The Davis Cup Trophy has been touring the country since April and there will be just the one visit to Lincolnshire, with Horncastle Tennis Club chosen as the venue.

The trophy will be at Horncastle & District Tennis Club on Saturday 24th September from 3pm.

Horncastle Tennis Club has grown over the last seven years from 55 members to now over 200.

In 2013 Horncastle Tennis Club secured major Sport England funding, and with additional support from ELDC, Lincolnshire County Council, Lindum Construction, and The Jobson Trust this enabled them to build their own clubhouse adjacent to the courts.

The Tennis Club is now a main player in Lincolnshire Tennis, fielding teams from all age groups in local leagues and providing social tennis for over 150 people each week, throughout the year.

The club is looking to expand even further and are in the initial stages of planning to provide 3 indoor courts.
