Saxilby Parish Council is holding a 5 kilometre road race later this year.

The Orderwise Saxilby 5k takes place on Sunday 4th September, starting and finishing at St Andrews Community Centre in the village.

The race is limited to a maximum of 500 adult competitors and all results will be available on the website on the same day as the race.

All finishers will receive bespoke medals and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female runners will be awarded Saxilby 5k trophies.

Free parking is available at Saxilby Church of England Primary School and Saxilby Mill Lane Playing Fields, close to the start/finish lane.

The 5k is a flat traffic free course with water stations at the start, finish and at the 2.5k point and there will be first aid provision throughout the course.

There will be a road closure order enforced prior to and during race. The course will be marshalled by qualified staff with the support of a voluntary group from Lincolnshire.

Toilets are provided at the St Andrews Community Centre at the Memorial Playing Fields. A baggage area is provided at St Andrews Community Centre.
