New School Games Banners Big Reveal

Following the announcement of the School Games Banner Competition winners, the final School Games banners have been released.

Winning banners have come from Alford Primary, Great Ponton C of E Primary, Normanby Primary and Potterhanworth C of E Primary School.

Active Lincolnshire asked young people from schools across the county to design two new School Games banners based around the six School Games values last month.

We wanted bright and colourful designs that took inspiration from Brazilian carnivals and the Rio Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Schools across the county got involved and creative, colourful, and innovative designs filled Active Lincolnshire HQ.

Winners of the School Games Banner competition 2016 were decided at this year’s Primary PE and Sport Conference at the start of this month.

The final designs, including the winning banners, will be used at future School Games events across Lincolnshire.

Well done and thank you to everyone who submitted a design.
