NetballLadies who enjoyed playing netball at school are encouraged to go ‘Back to Netball’, with six new sessions launching in January.

Back to Netball provides women of all ages and abilities with a gentle re-introduction to the sport. Run by passionate and enthusiastic coaches, sessions cover the basics of the game including passing, footwork and shooting. Sessions finish with a friendly match, putting the skills learnt into practice.

Louise Key, England Netball Development Officer for Lincolnshire, said:

“I meet lots of ladies who make the same New Year’s resolutions, and end up breaking them every year – so we’re launching new netball sessions to encourage ladies to improve their health and fitness, in a fun way.”

Natasha, a Back to Netball player from Eagle, said:

“I was overweight and out of shape when I started playing, but it was the best decision I made. Back to Netball has brought me fun, fitness and friends.”
