Marc Rhodes, Events Officer at Active Lincolnshires Partnership, said: “Last year was the ultimate year for sport in Britain because of the London 2012 Olympics, but 2013 has proved that it doesn’t stop there. Once again, we have seen some fantastic achievements in sport, not just nationally, but locally as well and now’s the time showcase these achievements in the Sports Awards 2013.
“The Active Lincolnshires Awards, in partnership with Lincolnshire Media, recognises sportspeople from across the county for their sporting achievements in the last 12 months. We know that there are lots of talented sportsmen and women in our county, and this is our chance to honour their accomplishments and present them with an award at our annual awards ceremony.”
Forms can be found in the Lincolnshire Echo, online at www.lincolnshiresports.com or by contacting the Active Lincolnshires Partnership on 01522 585580.
