Active Lincolnshires Partnership is the latest county sports partnership to become a Clubmark licenced organisation, meaning they can award accreditation to quality clubs in their region.

The awarding of a Clubmark licence will support LSP in their future club development activities which are on the increase.

LSP’s pilot Clubmark accreditation was awarded to Lincoln Indoor Bowls Club which itself was praised for the thorough nature of its submission.

Clubmark National Manager, Clare MacLeod, said: “We congratulate Active Lincolnshires Partnership on becoming a Clubmark licenced organisation. They are now able to offer the nationally recognised accreditation to clubs in their area who wish to develop and grow”.

Clare added:” We should also congratulate Lincoln Indoor Bowls Club for achieving Clubmark status and for the excellent evidence they presented to reach the quality standard”.

Active Lincolnshires Partnership now has a Clubmark panel in place which is ready to accredit community sports clubs in Lincolnshire. All organisations involved in accrediting Clubmark clubs are subject to a licensing process.

The licence is designed to ensure that these organisations work to minimum operating framework and are able to demonstrate that.

The licence is renewed every two years to ensure that minimum operating standards are met by all Clubmark sports and best practice in quality standards is reflected.
