Sports coaches are invited to attend a national networking and development event in Leeds next month.

The ‘Big All Day Talent Breakfast’ organised by sports coach UK will feature key note speeches from England Rugby Union Head Coach Stuart Lancaster and Women’s England Senior Cricket Coach Mark Lane.

They will talk about their coaching journey; how they got to where they are today, their influences and philosophies of coaching, practical examples and reflections on recent competitions including the ICC Women’s World Twenty-20 in Sri Lanka last month.

The event is completely free and follows on from a successful event of the same name in London in August.

Lizzie Borrill, Workforce Development Manager at Active Lincolnshires Partnership, said: “We encourage sports coaches to network with each other as much as possible to gain new insights into coaching techniques, fresh ideas and best practice. This sports coach UK event is a great way to share information and network on a national scale, with some of the country’s top coaches.”

Places for the event are allocated on a first come, first served basis. There is also an opportunity to watch the event online with 600 places available across the country to access online streaming of the event.

The ‘Big All Day Talent Breakfast’ will take place on Wednesday 12th December, 11.00am – 4.00pm at Elland Road Stadium, the home of Leeds United FC.
