Getting Started for adults (18+)
Adults should do at least 150 minutes (2 and half hours) of physical activity every week to achieve some health benefits.
An easy way to reach this is 30 minutes on at least 5 days of the week.
It might sound like a lot if you are not doing much at the moment, but there are lots of ways you can get started.
You might like to try a health walk, start jogging, or join a sports club near you. You can get out and about by hiring a bike or try some of the NHS workouts at home to fit around your lifestyle.
