Knowing that the more effort you put in the better you will become.

What does your training schedule look like?

Monday pm Swim session 2 hours
Tuesday pm Swim session 2 hours
Wednesday pm Swim session 1.5 hours then Cycling 1 hour
Thursday pm Running 1 hour then Swimming 1 hour
Friday pm Swim session 1.5 hours then Triathlon training 1 hour
Saturday/Sunday racing when the race season is on, this could be triathlons, swim gala, running race or cross country.
When not racing at a weekend I run on a Sunday morning.

Always make sure you warm up properly, eat well and have plenty of rest.

What’s your proudest sporting moment?

Being selected for the National IRC (Inter Regional Championships) Triathlon race in Scotland Sep 2016 and being selected as a reserve this year.  Representing the School for English Schools cross country, Winning the County Cross Country championships.

Loughborough University on the elite east midlands training programme, I loved the facilities.

What is your favourite food?

My favourite food is Steak, I love having it the night before a race!

What is your ultimate goal?

Being selected for the IRC National Triathlon team next year for East Midlands and being in the top three in the country.

Instagram, I love following professional athletes and seeing what they are getting up to.

Who is your inspiration?

Mo Farah because he never gives up and whoever is in his way, he always pulls off a win!

Do you have any tips for other athletes?

Knowing that every training session counts so give it your all. Also, knowing that your race only happens once so do it like you mean it.
