What motivates you?
My love for the game is my main motivation for playing wheelchair basketball.
What does your training schedule look like?
I train with my club the Sheffield Steelers on Tuesday and Thursday, each session from 6:30 to 9:30. I train with Newark Jaguars on Wednesday from 7:30 to 10. Also, I usually do a gym session on Monday or Friday; and hire a court for an hour to do some shooting practice on my own once a week.
What is your golden rule when it comes to fitness?
Train at a harder intensity than you would expect in a game so that putting it into a game seems effortless.
What’s your proudest sporting moment?
Gaining promotion to the first division following one of our most successful seasons as a relatively new member of a youthful squad.
Where is the best place you have been with your sport?
Jersey, the Channel Islands
What is your favourite food?
Burger with chips and onion rings
What is your ultimate goal?
To represent team GB at a Paralympic Games.

Who is your inspiration?
Abdi Jama, arguably the best 1-point classification player in the world, who wears the number 10 vest for GB.
Do you have any tips for other athletes?
Always keep a positive attitude in training and competition no matter the outcome. Sometimes setbacks can just give you a greater drive to further improve.
